The solution from Cleverlance company enabled Komerční banka to be the first among the Czech banks that could offer an original application for iWatch. The bank introduced the application during the launch of iWatch in the Czech Republic.
In a long term, Cleverlance serves as main provider of development of applications for mobile phones and tablets for Komerční banka. In comparison with mobile phones and tablets, the watch has a much smaller display, which was a challenge for the developers. It was necessary to define the most important current data to be displayed. First, for now, there are three functionalities that can be used: showing the account balance, three the most recent transactions, and a map of ATMs in the area. The maximum satisfaction of the clients is the aim of Komerční banka and Cleverlance and that is why we plan to collect data and comments from them, in order to develop new functionalities that reflect their needs and habits to the greatest extent possible.
Our aim was to develop a simple, clear, and modern application with a high level of security when accessing the bank account. The application runs on devices with iOS operating system.
“The application for Apple Watch is an addition to our offer of innovations that follows in the footsteps of Touch ID and 3D Touch introduced during last year. Also this year, our clients can look forward to breakthrough solutions not only in the area of direct banking, but also in mobile payments,” said Mojmír Prokop, Manager of Distribution channels and Customer Intelligence in KB.
“We are pleased to lead the wave of innovations in this field and to deliver to our customers such applications that meet not only the high security and functionality requirements, but which also reflect the users’ needs while offering them a clear interface with good usability,” added Milan Mitošinka, Manager of Mobile development unit in Cleverlance.
